The Bienvenues Bâtard Montrachet Grand Cru possesses an astonishing degree all the best qualities of white Burgundies: bright gold colour, rich and complex aromas recalling hazelnut and honey. Great depth and firmness but mellowness as well. Intense and persistent savour. This is a wine which needs time to reveal all its potential.
Enjoy with poultry, creamy white meat, fishes, seafood and cheese.

Full-bodied and powerful, with lemon cream, pineapple, mineral and spice aromas and flavors that align with the creamy texture before the structure emerges and freshens the palate. Outstanding, yet there's not quite the length for this to really sing. Best from 2010 through 2020. 200 cases imported. –BS
Vinous: 91-94 Points
(this was picked on September 15, three days before the ban, with 13.8% potential alcohol) Superripe, exuberant aromas of dried fruits and fresh pineapple lifted by high notes of white pepper and menthol. Fat and exotic but relatively uncomplicated following the Corton Quintessence. This tactile, opulent fruit bomb avoids coming off as heavy thanks to its very fresh acidity. Still a bit closed on the back end, with fruit-dominated finishing flavors of peach, pineapple and orange zest.
