Château La Tour Blanche Description
The colour is straw yellow, limpid and brilliant. Loads of fresh and candied fruits are found on the nose. Twirling reveals citrus (lemon, orange) and exotic fruits aromas bringing freshness (this year has a nice acidity giving rich and well-balanced wines). In the mouth the round, supple and generous attack makes this wine very delicate and full-bodied. Beautiful balance of richness, acidity and matter. The candied fruits and the fresh fruits make it possible to give aromatic persistency. The length in mouth of this wine can classify it among the outstanding years of the new millennium.
Wine Spectator: 89-91 Points
Plenty of lemon curd and apple character with just the hint of spice and vanilla. Full-bodied, with lots of botrytis, yet refined and long. This is very fine indeed. Score range: 89-91
